Deadliften. Most people have heard about it, seen people at the gym doing it. Its a workout where you try to see how much weight you can lift from the ground and than try to improve it. It looks simple, but it isnt.
Why? A good deadlift involves alot of focus on the proper technique to successfully execute a deadlift.
The deadlift is a weight training in which a loaded barbellor bar is lifted off the ground to the level of the hips, torso perpendicular to the floor, before being placed back on the ground. It is one of the three power lifting exercises, along with the squatt and bench press.
The benefit from deadliften is that you strengthen your body, your muscles in your legs, buttocks and lower back. And that is also where lies the most risk involved this exercise. A proper technique involves a good hip hinge, your shoulders on the right angle and a good core.
Where can It go wrong? Well if you don’t use the proper technique, even with a low weight, you can still damage your lower back. The more weights you put on, combine with a bad technique means you will damage your lower back and spine.
So if you want to start deadliften correctly, ask help from a personal trainer. You are going to need it.it will cost you, but in the long run, it’s for the better. A damaged back is going to cost you alot more than a personal trainer ever will.trust me.
In the three years that I train at MSA, now I’m at 125 kg for my 1 rep max deadlift. If I could train further with ir, I could achieve higher weights than that, but it depends really on what the trainers have in mind for rwch cycle.
