It’s been a week since I first had that disturbing dream. I did notice that it did had a positive effect on me. In the sense I have become more religious. Perhaps that was the message overal to become more religious active in the sense that don’t just pray, but also sacrifice.
Late November when I felt down, I offered up my beard in exchange for divine help from Aidoneos and Hekate. I held true to my word and it helped me move forward. So when I do make a offering or a sacrifice, it does help me or it does at least help me form a connection with the Gods which I sought all along.
Those that know me, know that I have been a polytheist since I was 13/14 years old. The transition form monotheist to polytheist came after the death of my maternal grandparents. After watching the show Hercules and Xena, I delbved into Greek mythology and that fascination led to my conversation to Hellenic Polytheism. Perhaps it was Aidoneos after all who send me message. Perhaps the message was I’m watching over you and perform rituals in honour of the Gods.
