With the conflict in Ukraine happening now, I don’t feel the need or urge to go there and fight alongside Ukrainians against the Russian troops. I don’t feel the call to do so. I’m a foreigner if I go to Ukraine. I prayed to Ares to help the Ukrainian soldiers in their war against the Russians. I prayed that he watches over them. I also prayed to Zeus the King of the Gods, that He intervenes and help find justice in this conflict. I don’t pray to the Gods to end Russia or to take more lives on Russian troops. War is hell. There is nothing glorious about it. This conflict needs to end as soon as possible, because of the possibility of a nuclear war which would be the end of the human race. That alone should scare people that this is no game.
I have prayed to the Gods that it will be resolved as soon as possible. I hope Athena will guide both sides back to the table to end this conflict.
